What's up everyone,
Do you feel hip-hop is dead or is dying? If so, please explain to me why. There are a number of reasons i feel that hip-hop is dying. First of all, I feel there aren't enough mainstream artist giving our youth a positive message. It appears big name record labels only want to support artist who promote drugs, sex, and violence. It also appears that unknown forces are pulling the strings on today's artist. It seems as if there not allowed to sing or rap about anything positive. I mean for real, when's the last time you heard a "We are the World" song? I don't know much about the Illuminati but some of the information i receive appears to have some relevance. In my opinion hip-hop is getting boring. All the rappers talk about the same thing, Money, cars, clothes, and sex. The Rappers of the past also talked about these things but at least every now and then they would hit you with something positive. For example, Tupac's "Brenda Got a Baby", "Dear Momma", and "keep ya head up". Today's rappers seem to be ignoring the youth and what's going on in today's society. I don't understand why they won't address some of these issues.
